I recently took a Basic Pistol Course with Anthony as the instructor, and it was an excellent experience. The class was very informative, well organized, and structured in a way that made it easy to follow and absorb the material.
Anthony broke the didactic portion into manageable sections and made sure there was adequate time for breaks and questions. He also allowed us to handle and examine different equipment so we could better understand how everything works. This hands-on approach made the learning process much more practical and engaging, and it helped me feel more confident and safe when handling firearms.
During the hands-on portion of the course, Anthony was patient, encouraging, and focused on safety at all times. He ensured everyone was comfortable and understood what they were doing before moving forward.
I would highly recommend his course to anyone looking to learn firearm safety and pistol fundamentals in a supportive, informative, and well-run.

Anthony taught all gun safety and all of the current self defense laws in CT. At the end you perform live fire and Anthony guides you through the steps you need to take to acquire the actual carry permit using the certificate. Anthony being a former police officer also helps a lot because he is familiar with the carry permit process local police departments offer and he can answer any questions you have about the process or any questions about gun laws, gun safety, etc. Quick and easy I would highly recommend!

Anthony’s class was thorough and safety focused. He is patient and extremely knowledgeable. During the “practicum” part of the test (actually firing a pistol) he provided ear plugs as well as encouragement and gave everyone the confidence necessary to hit the target accurately. I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to learn about gun safety and the basics of gun use.
Anthony's class is superb! He takes his time and thoroughly covers the material and encourages questions and interaction. While he takes his teaching seriously, his outgoing personality shines through makes the class interesting and enjoyable. When it comes to the hands-section of the class, he is patient and teaches people in a way that is constructive and confidence inspiring. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking for a positive learning experience. Although I'm I seasoned shooter, I will be taking private lessons with Anthony to improve my skills!
